Privacy policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026 · applies to the Nuncio app and the getnuncio.app website
The short version
Nuncio collects nothing. The app has no servers, no accounts of its own, no telemetry, no analytics and no advertising. Your mail travels between your Mac and Google — never through us. We could not read your mail even if we wanted to; there is simply nothing on our side to receive it.
What the app collects
Nothing. Nuncio does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to Monto Bleu BV. There is no crash reporting, no usage measurement and no identifier of any kind. We do not know who uses Nuncio, how often, or with which accounts.
Where your data lives
- Your mail and sign-ins. Each account signs in to Google directly, inside its own isolated storage on your Mac — comparable to separate browser profiles. Cookies, cache and site data never leave your computer and never mix between accounts.
- Your password. You type it on Google's own sign-in page. Nuncio never sees, stores or forwards it.
- App settings. Account names, colors and preferences are stored locally on your Mac and nowhere else.
- Downloads. Files you download are saved to the folder you choose, on your Mac.
What leaves your Mac
Only the traffic you would also generate in a browser: connections from your Mac to Google's services within your own personal sign-in — loading Gmail, sending mail, and periodically checking Google's standard unread feed to show badge counts. That traffic is governed by Google's privacy policy, exactly as when you use gmail.com yourself. No traffic goes to Monto Bleu BV.
Notifications and Focus
Notifications are composed and shown entirely on your Mac through macOS. If you allow Nuncio to read your Mac's Focus state (so the floating panel stays quiet during Focus), that state is read locally and never transmitted.
This website
getnuncio.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. The site is served by Cloudflare, which may process technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) strictly to deliver the site securely; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or keep visitor profiles.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction and deletion. Because Nuncio processes no personal data on our side, there is nothing we could hand over, correct or delete — everything is on your Mac and in your Google account. For mail data itself, Google is your provider. Deleting the app and its data is described in the FAQ.
Changes
If Nuncio ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and state the change plainly at the top. The promise above — no servers, no telemetry — is the product's foundation, not a temporary policy.
Contact
Nuncio is made by Monto Bleu BV, Belgium. Questions about this policy are welcome via the contact details on your App Store receipt or the app's support page.
